Rapport
wallpaper and publication, published by report, Basel, 2003 (www.report.ch)
An artistic booklet that is intended to work as an exhibition on 16 pages. One can disassemble the booklet and form the pages together into a large-scale photo of a wallpaper pattern (68 x 96 cm). The pattern of the wallpaper is printed on a 1:1 scale and the booklets can be used for wallpapering. (Exhibition documentation Southbound, Berlin 2003)
The wallpaper and the photographs in the booklet are shot in Ziegenhals close to Berlin in a clubhouse (of an association) that was still housing a memorial to Ernst Tählmann in 2003 .
two or three things
say history, facts and fiction from the media, the internet and in archives. then filming and photographing, writing and making interviews... the result; a montage, a confrontation of private, subjective and present images and text. stories confronted with my own. communicative spaces where fact and fiction blur in multilayered narratives, art and research

(City town hall – Nordbanken), Härnösand, Sweden 2001
8 c-prints and one drawing made for an exhibition in the open-air museum in Härnösand. I exhibited in the former city hall that was moved from the city centre to the museum area. I asked the organizers of the exhibition to ask visitors to the museum to take photographs of the location where the city hall used to be in the city centre. For the exhibition I chose a few of the photos and made a drawing, a map of the museum area, where I, in an empty spot of the open-air museum, placed the buildings; a bank and a small shopping centre, that were now on the former location of the city hall.

Exhibition in the Gallery of the Art Academy Helsinki 2000, c-print, 120 x 160, 180 x 240 cm, lightbox 105 x 250 cm, (1/1)
For a few weeks during Christmas, the gallery was closed, and I lived and furnished the space as an apartment. I then photographed these “installations”. In the later exhibition only the photos were shown on a scale where the furniture seemed to be of natural size. Details, like fusion boxes, radiators etc. would suggest that the photographs were taken in the same space where they were later shown.

No title, 240 x 180 cm, Berlin, 2000. (1-3/3)
2 c-prints and 20 m2 (4 x 5 m) tiled wall.

Police on Bikes, 2006, c-print, 60 x 80 cm and a happening documented on the surveillance cameras at the Nordic Embassy in Berlin.

Checkpoint Charlie I, 150 x 190 cm

Revisit 2005, c-print, 60 x 80 cm (1-3/3)
Mc-Nair, McNair Museum, Platz des 4 Juli, Bridge of Freedom, Teufelsberg I-III, Girl Watchers Corner, Starlite Club
Documentation of some places that american veterans recommend each other to visit when revisiting Berlin.
